Last week my hubby called the Vetenarian doctor Brett to come to our house and put Torrey to sleep today. Then we decide not too cause her casket is not ready and we postponed to next friday. My hubby had Torrey for about 14-15 years from the dog pound and had climbed mountains with her. Torrey's name came from the mountain Torreys Peak. Torrey has climbed 8 mountains with my hubby but my hubby climbed 14'ers. 14'ers are mountains in Colorado that are 14,000 feet or above sea level. There are 54 of these mountains in Colorado. Torrey had a bladder cancer for more than a year , doctor said maybe she lived for 6 months but she made more than a year. She's so wonderful.
Today at 2:30 pm My hubby called me that can't wait till Friday cause Torrey was bleeding from her mouth. My hubby called the Vet and told him that Torrey might not make it another day so the doctor is coming to the house around 6:30 pm to put her sleep tonight. Torreys casket is not ready. Our friend Mark is making the casket. Once Torrey is put to sleep, we willl take her to the Vet's office and freeze her. Once Torreys casket is made we will bring her back home then will bury her. So I quickly left work and came home when my hubby called. It's very sad for my hubby, He loves her so much, My hubby took her everywhere even to do Tree's work ,went to Vegas with us, she liked riding in the old van 2000 Ford Windstar, the back seat was Torreys. Torrey lived a wonderful life and its her time to go without hurting or pain.My hubby put her Torrey on his lap waiting for the doctor to come to spend the last time for Torrey. We are very grateful to have her,now its her time to leave in body, but we will have her spirit in our hearts always with us . God Bless our wonderful dog, Torrey Ann Montoya
